A Tribute to Each and Every Women on
International Women's Day - March 8
International Women's Day - March 8
Long live Mrs Birthday girl
shine on like a blue-sea pearl
stood out there a rare jewel ball
just broke out of muddy sea roll
just broke out of muddy sea roll
Nevertheless, the greying curls,
growing fatigue and pinching wrinkles
set you sail in twirling waves,
extreme terrains and appalling skies
You never let the spirit die in veins!
You woke up early, yet no one heard
You served for all, yet never
whined.
Always multi-tasked, yet never
crashed.
You listened to all, yet never
bugged
You lived unaware of your worth
until your man praised you 'bright'
You longed for mean happiness
Until your man hugged you tight.
Wo'man' has 'man' in her
Men in dreams had woman in him
Woman is complete without man
Men never imagined them perfect,
without.
Mis'fortune' has fortune in it
Fortune has many pits in it
If growing old is a pale misfortune;
Growing young is a glowing
defect!
A Smile of yours made its day for
Earth -
Made mean men dance to your tunes.
Frown of yours shook the whole galaxy -
Tamed the wayward kids on their
toes.
A wave of yours ticked the cool breeze
off -
Soaked the toughest heart to
de-freeze.
A stare of yours put the clouds to rust -
Pushed men's dreams off to
awestruck space!
Happy Women's Day...
