God at Highest Peak

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Your devotees reached you trekking weak

Mountain stood still to keep flowers fresh

We too stood still, prayed, to keep us afresh.

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Oversee your folks live in peace

Rivers kept flowing towards ocean

Righteous kept the promise of compassion

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Earth revolved in and around without break,

Kept its creatures barely shaken

Set the scorching Sun at bearable bay

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Lit the Moon from dusk till dawn

Evaded fear and evoked appeal

Smeared the honey of emotions alive

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Anything that flown up touched down apiece

Fruits fell along for those live in pain

Blessings showered upon in pouring rain

God, you stayed at the top of the peak

Let the cloud seed, grow and break

it into tiny piece of ice pearl drops;

Spread the shiny wings of rainbow,

and washed off the arch of sorrow.
