New Year Resolution
One more year to
start with new resolutions,
though ineffective
in the past;
Add one more number
to your Age,
though we never wish
for it;
One year up to your
offspring,
though they
remain li'le babies;
An year less to
mature Insurance Policies,
though they're
hardly worth it.
Another year to
start with new hopes,
Though they're
rarely fulfilled;
Another year we
set new goals,
Though they're barely
achieved;
Another instance
we thought,
Many things we
could've done better;
Another moment
we thought,
How fast last
year went past.
